TRAINING & INDUCTION
Care Standard has commissioned Care Quality Training to train all their staff in line with the Care Quality Commission recommendations. All trainings are fully certified to support staff development. We have accessibility to over 100 courses (including online and F2F). All staff at Care Standard are trained in (minimum): the Care Certificate (full 15-modules), Control & Administration of Medication, Managing Risk, Safe Handling of People & Objects, and Controlled Drug Awareness [including Morphine Diazepam, and Buccal] whilst also covering general organisational policies and procedures. Each training lasts between 6 to 18 months, and is fully transferrable to any other job or employer. Dependent on individual experience, staff may need to carry out between 1 to 3 shadowing shifts to test the waters and get an understanding of different care institutes.
